Merry xmas
Eleventh Commandment would like to wish you a merry xmas. We hope you're on Santa's good list this year. We're not holding our breath.
Play safe and be good to your family. We'll leave the last word to the one and only Tim Minchin.

HMAS Eleventh Commandment @ Lucid Laundry
One of the coolest stores in the country is undoubtedly Lucid Laundry. With two stores in Brisbane (Fortitude Valley and New Farm), the Lucid crew have a sweet layout with some of the best labels going around including Ksubi, Nudie, Alice McCall, Maurie and Eve, Shakuhachi, Flux and of course Eleventh Commandment.
All those that have visited the Lucid Laundry store in Fortitude Valley will have seen the rad little moat running around the shop. Recently we decided to make something pretty for said water feature.
Say a'hoy to HMAS Eleventh Commandment - a remote control pirate ship with custom-made premium denim sails:
Now the Queen doesn't usually award the 'HMAS' title to remote control pirate ships but when we showed it to her she lost her shit. And it wasn't just cos she's really old. Anywho if you're around Brisbane you should definitely drop into Lucid Laundry to check out this floating beauty and stock yourself up with some killer threads.
EC - This is probably the only time I'll ever post images of anything in my bath. Unless you ask nicely...then you might get something really special

Xmas Rage
A campaign started on facebook in the UK has, for the first time in four years, stopped another lamo from X-Factor scoring the number one single at xmas time.
And who did they push to the top? Rage Against the Machine's 'Killing in the Name' was announced as this year's number one festive song - 17 years after its release date- with over 500,000 copies being purchased in the last week.
I'd like to give a massive high five to the guy that started this campaign...probably with an 'on the side' and a 'down below'.

Snob Scrilla - Heartbreak Scorsese
Thought we would chuck this track up, firstly because it's a rad tune but also because our friend Tanya is in it. She's the one getting her grief on at 2.52. Enjoy

Lunatics competition winners!!
Our Lunatics competition is now closed and hot-damn did we get some good photos! Thanks to everyone that submitted entries - there were some fantastic shots of some beautiful and not-so-beautiful people. So without further adieu...
Third prize: Earning herself a year's supply of free hugs and a bottomless sack of kudos is Natalie aka DJ Femme. Natalie is the babe behind the decks throwing down some banging beats and styling in our Midas Touch 2.0 singlet.
Second prize: Staking claim to silver is Katie in our Enjoys Coke singlet for this photo with her and the Jager girls. We would offer her some kind of fake prize for this effort but by the looks of it she already got some quality grope action and we think that's a prize in itself.
And finally the ultimate Lunatic, by unanimous decision, congratulations to Brendan for this photo featuring both our Gingham Ain't Easy tee and Harlequin jeans. Brendan receives a $200 gift voucher to use in our online store and the opportunity to show off his finely sculpted gluteals to the millions (approximately) of women that visit this blog every day. Better than any singles video. Well played sir.
We will be launching another round of the Lunatics comp early next year. That gives you plenty of opportunity to take lots of silly snaps over the silly season and send them in for your chance to win free threads and glory.

Tim Minchin
We went and saw Tim Minchin at the State Theatre last night.
And holy shit he was amazing. He is by far the world's most hilarious / talented / ridiculously intelligent ginja ninja.
I'm sure a YouTube clip won't really convey his brilliance but it was either this or dragging him to each of your doorsteps and forcing him to perform at gunpoint just so we could get our point across.
