Beardyman - One Man Party Machine

We first saw this guy opening for Groove Armada a couple of months back. It's fair to say when he covered Massive Attack's 'Teardrop' I lost my shit. You should definitely see him live before you die, or soon thereafer if he's playing parties in heaven by that stage.

Daft Punk piano medley

Our friends over at Blouse pointed me to this. Being that they're always on top of everything happening in the world of music it's not really much of a surprise that they picked it up. If you like music you should check out their blog . And if you don't like music...what is wrong with you??

Lately I've fallen into the habit of cruising over to Blouse when I'm bored and leaving romantic / borderline creepy messages for our girl Rachel, signing them as 'Your Secret Admirer'. I wonder how long it will take til she figures out who it is.

Eleventh Commandment part of new Not Just A Label online store

Probably the coolest fashion destination on the web, Not Just A Label has long been a mecca for designers and fashionistas alike. But as of today the crafty NJAL crew are stepping things up a notch, with the launch of their online store. The London-based organisation has gathered some amazing talent from around the globe, and will be inviting a leading industry figure to host THE SHOP each month.

NJAL had this to say:
"Not Just A Label gives birth to a new kind of shopping experience offering unique, one-off designer garments. Addicts and admirers alike now have the opportunity to purchase special and limited edition pieces from designers recognised as the leaders in avant-garde fashion.

"The first to host THE SHOP is Robin SchuliƩ, head-buyer of the iconic Maria Luisa store in Paris and Unit F, the Austrian Association for Contemporary fashion. Diane Pernet, editor of cult-favourite blog 'A Shaded View On Fashion', and founder of ASVOFF fashion film festival, has been announced as our host in July."

Eleventh Commandment is super excited to be a part of this initiative. You should definitely check it out.

Vivid Sydney launch tonight

We're so pumped for this. Running until June 14, Vivid Sydney is a new festival that will involve so much cool shit it's not even worth listing. It will be broken down into four categories: Creative Sydney, Luminious, Smart Light Sydney and Fire Water. There are about a billion things happening over the three weeks, each of which will likely blow your mind. You really need to jump over to the Vivid Sydney Website to learn more about it all.

Here are a couple of short videos about Vivid Sydney. They don't come close to doing it justice, but what video could?

Music icon Brian Eno talking about Luminous:

Ask Richard

Our favourite 'little station that could' is in a bit of financial trouble. FBi is undoubtedly the greatest radio station this side of Vietnam, but clearly quality sound waves and sexy radio hosts aren't enough to get you by in this crazy world we live in.

Not willing to go quietly into the night, however, FBi has just launched an audacious plan to secure their future - Ask Richard Branson for $1,000,000. Bam!!

It's pretty simple - they are asking you, yes you, to convince the world's biggest Virgin to donate the money. In return you will receive 50,000 bones all to yo'self. You can do whatever it takes to get the cash. It's a fantastic little ploy - we really hope FBi pulls this one off.

If you think you've got what it takes to grab the big man's attention, jump down this rabbit hole here.

And for anyone that doesn't know who Richard Branson is, he is one of the most successful entrepreneurs the world has ever seen. Here is a lazy snap taken of him kite surfing around his private island in the Caribbean with a naked model on his back. Pretty standard really.

Dimitri the Stud

It's your classic love story.

Guy meets girl. Girl gives guy her number. Guy leaves creepy messages on girl's phone which are then spread all over the internet.

I think this is the start of something special.
